Unionbank – Shopee

Preliminaries:
10% off (capped at ₱400) on Shopee every Wednesday, 12NN-2PM, for UnionBank Credit Cardholders.

1. Qualifications
   The Promo is open to all principal and supplementary UnionBank credit cardholders (“Cardholders”) whose cards have been issued by UnionBank of the Philippines (“UnionBank Issued Credit Cards”) or issued by any other banking or financial institution and later on acquired by or transferred to UnionBank of the Philippines (“UnionBank Acquired Credit Cards”), have available credit limit and who are not prohibited under applicable Gifts, Anti-Bribery and Corruptions laws, regulations, and policies from participating in and/or qualifying for this Promo.
2. How to Avail
   1. Shop using the Shopee mobile app and website.
   2. Select the items you wish to purchase and click “BUY NOW”.
   3. To proceed with checkout, enter your e-mail address and shipping details.
   4. Click your preloaded voucher (check your voucher wallet) or enter promo code “UBMOREWED” upon checkout.
   5. Click “Select payment method” and choose “Credit / Debit Card” as option.
   6. Select or add your UnionBank Issued or Acquired Credit Card and click “Confirm”.
   7. Promo discount will be automatically applied to your purchase upon checkout.
3. Terms and Conditions
   1. Qualified UnionBank Credit Cardholders are entitled to avail of the promo discount from Shopee within the applicable promo period. If found to have double/multiple availments, UnionBank reserves the right to charge back the full cost of the promo codes to the cardholder’s account, at UnionBank’s discretion.
   2. Promo discount is 10% off (capped at P400), min spend ₱3,000 using the promo code “UBMOREWED”.
   3. Promo discount is for one-time use only every Wednesday, 12NN to 2PM, from January 29, 2025 to April 16, 2025.
   4. Promo discount cannot be reapplied after a “qualified order” (i.e. an order that satisfies the mechanics and requirements set above) has been canceled by the cardholder unless the reason for cancellation is deemed valid upon investigation by Shopee (e.g. delay in receipt of OTP).
   5. Promo discount is valid for new and existing Shopee registered customers.
   6. Promo discount cannot be applied retroactively.
   7. The offer cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
   8. The promo code is not transferable and must be used only by the cardholder who received the promotional communications.
   9. Promo discounts are only valid on preferred and Shopee Mall stores excluding products under the “Loads, Bills, and eServices” category.
   10. Promo discount is valid on orders to be delivered via integrated couriers.
   11. By joining this promo, the user confirms that he/she has read, understood, and agreed to the promo mechanics and its terms & conditions. Any concerns on product returns or exchange shall be covered under these terms and conditions and should be coursed directly to Shopee.
   12. Shopee reserves the right to cancel transactions of accounts that are proven to be invalid or fraudulent (i.e. abuse of system).

5. Other Disclosures:
   • Fraud, abuse, or any unauthorized action relating to the credit card transaction or the participation in the Promo may result in the disqualification of the Customer from the Promo, or suspension or cancellation of the Card privileges at UnionBank’s discretion. This shall be without prejudice to any legal action that may be taken by UnionBank.
   • The Cardholder agrees that the continued use of the UnionBank Issued and UnionBank Acquired Credit Card shall be his/her acceptance and agreement to be bound by the provisions of the Bank’s Data Privacy Statement (DPS) found at https://www.unionbankph.com/privacy-security.
   • By availing the Promo offer, the Cardholder is responsible for providing his/her personal information and other information that may be required to the Merchant and agrees that such information shall be subject to the confidentiality, data privacy, and security terms of the Merchant. The general terms and conditions of the Merchant apply.
   • Any amendment in the Terms and Conditions governing the Promo is subject to prior Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) approval.
   • In case of dispute with respect to the Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, and fulfilment, Union Bank’s decision with the concurrence of DTI shall be considered final.
