Promo Details
  1. Use BDO Mastercard Credit Card at your favorite Retail Shops and Department Stores
    Accumulate spend of at least P50,000 from February 1 to March 31, 2025. Minimum of P2,000 per transaction.
  2. Enroll 
    Join the Promo by submitting your 10-character Promo ID.
  3. Get up to P5,000 Cashback 
    Receive an SMS upon successful crediting of Cashback on or before May 8, 2025.

Promo Mechanics

  1. The “Up to P5,000 Cashback on Shopping with BDO Mastercard” (“Promo”) is open to all Principal and Supplementary Cardholders (“Cardholder”) of any BDO Mastercard Credit Card (“Qualified Cards”) including Virtual Cards attached to the Qualified Cards. Account status must be active and in good standing (i.e. no past due) within the Promo Period and at the time of Cashback posting. The following cards are not eligible to avail of the Promo: BDO Debit Cards, BDO Installment Cards, BDO Corporate Cards and BDO Cash Cards.
  2. The Promo will run from February 1 to March 31, 2025 (“Promo Period”). All transactions must be made within the Promo Period to avail of the Offer.
  3. To qualify, Cardholder must:
    1. Use the Qualified Card and have posted RETAIL SHOP* and DEPARTMENT STORE transactions as follows:
      1. Local in-store purchases
        • Dip, Tap, or Scan-to-Pay via BDO Pay using Qualified Card
        • BUY NOW, PAY LATER purchases (principal amount only) 
      2. Overseas in-store purchases
      3. Online spend (local/overseas) 
      4. Minimum amount per transaction must be P2,000
      5. The cumulative spend amount must be at least P50,000.  
        • A Principal Card is treated separately from his/her Supplementary Card. In computing for the total qualified spend, transactions of Principal Card cannot be combined with the transactions of Supplementary Card.
        • A Virtual Card is linked to a main Card. In computing for the total qualified spend, transactions using a Virtual Card shall be combined with the transactions of the main Card. 
        • For Cardholders enrolled in Dual Currency feature, transactions in US Dollar will be converted to its Philippine Peso equivalent on a fixed rate of US$1=PHP 58. The resulting amount will then be added to the total qualified Peso transactions to determine the total spend amount. 

          *Includes Clothing & Apparel, Accessories, Jewelries, Appliances, Electronic Sales (such as Gadgets), Hardware Stores, Furniture, Sporting Goods, Stationery and more 

          BDO has the sole discretion to determine whether a transaction is classified as qualified. To identify qualified transactions, BDO is dependent on the Merchant Category Code “MCCs” assigned by the Acquiring Bank for each store.
    2. Enroll to the promo until March 31, 2025 by submitting the 10-character Promo ID that was sent by BDO via BDO Deals Viber/SMS and/or email on the designated web enrollment page. Enrollment with incorrect Promo ID will not be processed.
      1. Principal and Supplementary Cardholders must enroll separately using their individual Promo ID.
      2. Enrollment of a Cardholder automatically enrolls all his/her Qualified BDO Mastercard Credit Cards, including BDO Mastercard Virtual Card under his/her Promo ID. 
        The Cardholder’s contact information must be kept updated to continue receiving card promotions/advisories. In case Cardholder did not receive the Promo ID via Viber/SMS or email, Cardholder may call the BDO Customer Contact Center at (02) 8888-0000 to get his/her assigned Promo ID. BDO will not be responsible for non-receipt of Viber/SMS or email notification due to incorrect or outdated contact details.
  4. Earning of Cashback (“Cashback”):
    1. Cardholders are entitled to a one-time redemption of Cashback regardless if he/she has more than one Qualified Card. The maximum Cashback entitlement of P5,000 applies per Cardholder.
    2. For Cardholders with multiple Qualified Cards, Cashback will be awarded to the Card with the highest spend. 
  5. Crediting of Cashback:
    1. Cashback will be awarded in Philippine Peso.
    2. Cashback earned by the Supplementary Cardholder will be posted to the Principal Cardholder’s account. 
    3. Qualified Cardholders will receive a Viber/SMS notification on or before May 8, 2025 upon successful posting of Cashback earned and will appear on the succeeding Statement of Account (SOA) with transaction description “MC SHOPPING CASHBACK”

Terms and Conditions

  1. Cardholder must examine their SOA for any error/s related to the Promo (e.g. cashback computation, non-awarding of cashback). For promo-related complaints, BDO will handle complaints within 7 to 10 banking days from receipt of complaint, provided with complete information, proof of purchase and other supporting documents. All questions and issues arising from the Promo will only be accepted not later than July 27, 2025, after which all matters relating to the Promo are considered conclusive.
  2. Cashback earned is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-convertible to cash. It is treated as a credit or payment on any outstanding balance on the Cardholder’s account.
  3. Double Redemption, Cancellation of qualified purchase and Fraudulent transaction/s.
    • The Promo cannot be redeemed in conjunction with other promotional offers of BDO. A Cardholder’s purchase that has been used to avail of the Promo may no longer be used to avail of another BDO Promo such as but not limited to Spend Anywhere Cashback, SM 3-Day Sale, Travel Cashback, Credit Card Activation Programs, and the like or vice versa. If found to have double/multiple redemptions, BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the Cashback awarded to the Principal or Supplementary Cardholder.
    • Similarly, if the qualifying transaction/s were disputed or cancelled at a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid or fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transactions, BDO will reverse the Cashback awarded or directly collect the cost from the Cardholder. BDO has the sole discretion in qualifying the transactions of a Cardholder based on the mechanics of the Promo. Once qualified by BDO, the transaction can no longer be used for another BDO promo even if the said transaction meets the criteria of the other promo. 
  4. By participating in the Promo, Cardholder agrees to maintain his/her BDO credit card account updated (without incurring past due/delinquency) within the Promo Period and at the time of posting of the Cashback. Cardholder further acknowledges that should he/she fail to comply with any of the Terms and Conditions and Mechanics of the Promo, he/she will not be eligible to avail of the Cashback.
  5. In case of dispute regarding Cardholder’s eligibility, coverage of dates, fulfillment and redemption, BDO shall resolve the dispute with the concurrence of DTI. In case of any questions about any of the provisions of the Promo, the interpretation of BDO shall prevail with the concurrence of DTI.  
  6. The Promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of BDO Credit Cards.
